Dr. Deepak Kukkar is a content creator, teacher, author, and Researcher by Profession. He is an alumnus of Panjab University, Chandigarh and CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh. He is an enthusiastic personality with a positive and hard-working aptitude. Academically, he has published more than 85 articles in journals of International repute, which signify his research capabilities. Dr. Kukkar was at Hanyang University for his postdoctoral research during 2017-18 and 2021-22. He has keen interest in biosensing applications of nanomaterials for detection of CKD biomarkers.
Additionally, Dr. Kukkar has expertise in using bioinformatics tools and pipelines for the identification of novel biomarkers for therapeutics of Diabetic nephropathy. His research work has been duly funded by ANRF (Formerly SERB, Government of India), Department of Science and Technology, and Indian Council of Medical Research. Dr. Kukkar is also running a YouTube Channel ‘Bioenigma Uncovered’, where he discusses the latest trends in bioinformatics tools and programs.
